The HRepeat slider determines how sets the texture offset to one texture can be applied. When I check if the model has UVs in Zbrush, I have found out that if the "Delete UV" is greyed out, meaning there are No UVs. A common OBJ bug in a few apps is that UV's are not saved when there is no material.. or image map applied to the geometry you are exporting. It's not uncommon for maps to be flipped between ZBrush and other apps. Normally, it's vertical but in your case it appears to be horizontal.

This is for my college project. The Group UV Tiles button assigns a different portion of the selected texture to each polygroup in the 3D object. The Uv Cylindrical button maps the selected texture onto the selected 3D object as if it were a cylinder. What do your UVs look like with texture on in maya the UVs might need flipping or the texture, also check that that there is no transparencey on the shader
